Project Bluewater — 0.1.0-alpha
===============================

IT UPDATES ITSELF. Extract this once, and that is the last time you do
it. Every time you start the game it quietly asks whether there is a
newer version, fetches it in the background if there is, and uses it the
next time you start. Nothing to click and nothing to reinstall. If the
update server is down, or you are offline, the game simply plays — it
never waits on it.

GOING OUT WITH OTHER PEOPLE

  1. Run the game and start a profile.
  2. SHARED WATERS, on the main menu.
  3. Choose a world. The next thing you see is the water, with the
rest of the fleet already on it.

The list is fetched by the game itself, so it is whatever is running
now. At the time this copy was built it held:

    Calder Sound 76.67.67.59:27042

A world that is not in the list can still be reached with TYPE AN
ADDRESS, in the same place.

A world is persistent. It keeps turning while you are ashore: the tide,
the weather and the day's marks carry on without you, and a fish that
broke your line is still out there wearing your tackle. Sixteen boats
fit. No account, no password.

CONTROLS

A controller is the design target; keyboard is fully supported, and the
pause screen lists everything. Everything below is rebindable in
Settings. The first fight teaches its own controls but will not tell
you how to beat a fish. That part is yours.
